Communication-and-Creative-Arts

Carrillo’s Communication and Creative Arts theme is based upon 21st Century Learning skills. Quarterly arts and technology integrated thematic units are aligned to the Arizona Career and College Readiness Standards. Students in each grade level learn core content subjects through engaging lessons integrated with performing and visual arts and technology. In addition to their general education classroom all students benefit from at least four hours a week of arts and technology instruction delivered by certified specialist teachers. Carrillo families share in the learning by attending various showcases of the student's work throughout the school year.
